Cameron Diaz, 53, has given birth to her third child with husband Benji Madden, 47, the Good Charlotte rocker announced on Monday. The couple welcomed a son named Nautas Madden.
Benji shared the news on Instagram alongside an image of a ship, a nod to the nautical meaning of the name. The post explained that Nautas means 'sailor, navigator, voyager; one who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown.' Diaz replied in the comments with five heart emojis.
The famously private couple, who married in 2015, are already parents to daughter Raddix, six, and son Cardinal, two. They have largely kept their family life out of the spotlight, only occasionally sharing updates.
The announcement comes just over a year after Diaz made her Hollywood comeback in Netflix's 'Back in Action.' She had taken a decade-long acting hiatus in 2014, a period she described as the 'best' of her life. 'I was just free to just say, “I'm a mom, I'm a wife, I'm living my life,”' she said on The Graham Norton Show last year.
Diaz currently stars in Jonah Hill's new film 'Outcome' alongside Keanu Reeves, and is set to reprise her voice role as Princess Fiona in 'Shrek 5,' scheduled for release in 2027.
