Bruno Tonioli Quits Britain's Got Talent, KSI in Talks to Replace Him

Bruno Tonioli has reportedly stepped down as a judge on Britain's Got Talent after two seasons, according to The Sun. The 69-year-old, who previously served as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, joined the ITV show in 2023 following David Walliams' exit.

Despite attempts by Simon Cowell to persuade him to stay, Tonioli's commitments with Dancing With The Stars in the US have made it impossible for him to continue. An insider told The Sun: 'Bruno has officially quit Britain's Got Talent and they are hoping that KSI will replace him.' The source added that Tonioli 'absolutely loved being on the panel' but 'just can't juggle his schedule with filming'.

Singer and boxing star KSI, who recently served as a guest judge on the show, has reportedly been lined up as a replacement. Tonioli previously praised KSI, calling him 'fantastic' and 'a real charming man full of energy'. However, sources close to the situation have confirmed that the line-up for next year is still purely speculation.

Recent reports have disclosed that auditions for the upcoming series will be held exclusively in Blackpool this October. The show's live semi-finals, traditionally aired nightly, were also shown on Saturday nights during the latest series.

Tonioli caused a stir during the final after swearing live on air before the 9pm watershed. Presenter Declan Donnelly apologised to viewers after Tonioli used inappropriate language while commenting on a performance. Tonioli later clarified that the judges had found the act very amusing.
