Brooklyn Beckham 'still close' to aunts and grandparents amid family rift

Brooklyn Beckham remains in contact with two of his aunts and his grandparents, despite an ongoing feud with his parents David and Victoria Beckham, reports claim. The 26-year-old shocked followers last month when he said he did not wish to reconcile with his parents in a social media statement, after blocking them and his brothers from his accounts.

A source told The Sun that Brooklyn is still close to his aunts, Lynne Georgina, 53, and Joanne Louise, 43. Joanne has been a constant presence for the Beckham children, and there is hope she could help mend the family rift. Nicola Peltz-Beckham, Brooklyn's wife, continues to follow the aunts on Instagram, unlike his parents and brothers.

Brooklyn is also said to be in touch with his grandparents – Ted and Sandra Beckham, and Tony and Jackie Adams – and spoke with them over the Christmas period. No immediate family members have confirmed the status of their relationship with the couple.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn's brother Cruz, 20, appeared to pay homage to their father Sir David Beckham in a teaser for his new music video. The clip shows Cruz and his band inside Tony's Traditional Pie and Mash Shop in Essex, referencing David's well-known fondness for the dish.
