Brooklyn Beckham's Lavish New Chapter in Los Angeles
Brooklyn Beckham has been showcasing his extraordinarily luxurious life in Los Angeles, marking a significant new chapter after his very public disownment of his famous parents. The twenty-six-year-old aspiring chef took to Instagram late last month to declare he had no desire to reconcile with his mother Victoria, fifty-one, and father Sir David Beckham, fifty. In his statement, he accused them of intentionally trying to sabotage his relationship with his wife, thirty-year-old actress Nicola Peltz.
A Glimpse into a Millionaire's World
On Tuesday, Brooklyn offered his followers an intimate insight into his millionaire lifestyle through a series of Instagram posts. The photographs depicted him relaxing in a stunning property featuring expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that offered breathtaking panoramic views of the Los Angeles skyline. Another image captured Brooklyn posing inside a vast walk-in wardrobe, which was overflowing with his wife Nicola's extensive collection of designer shoes.
Further interior shots revealed exquisite details, including a pink marble table elegantly adorned with arrangements of white roses and bathrooms decorated with intricate craftsmanship. Additional snaps provided a glimpse of the couple's stay at the exclusive San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, a hotel famously favoured by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Reports indicate that a night at this luxurious retreat can cost upwards of two thousand five hundred and ninety-five dollars.
Financial Dynamics and Family Drama
The financial backdrop to this lifestyle is substantial. It is reported that Brooklyn and Nicola receive a monthly allowance of one million dollars from Nicola's father, the eighty-three-year-old billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz. His immense wealth, estimated at one point six billion dollars, significantly eclipses the combined net worth of the Beckham family, which stands at approximately six hundred and eighty million dollars.
Commenting on the situation, journalist Marina Hyde noted on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast that while the Beckhams provide financial support to Brooklyn, it is not to the same extravagant degree. She suggested Nelson Peltz allegedly stated he gives his daughter the substantial monthly allowance, a dynamic that reportedly surprised the Beckhams, who anticipated different financial arrangements for their children.
Nelson Peltz briefly addressed the ongoing family drama during a public appearance, stating the matter was a private family story but affirming his support for his daughter and son-in-law, expressing hope for their long and happy marriage.
Silence and Symbolic Gestures
In contrast to Brooklyn's public statements, the Beckham family has maintained a stoic silence since his damning declaration. David, Victoria, and their other children—Romeo, twenty-three, Cruz, twenty, and Harper, fourteen—presented a united front at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris last week.
Adding a symbolic layer to the feud, it appears Brooklyn has taken steps to remove a tattoo tribute to his father. Previously, a large anchor tattoo on his upper arm featured the word "dad" and the affectionate message "Love you Bust," David's nickname for his eldest son. New images suggest this tribute has been lasered off or redesigned, with the text now faded. This follows Brooklyn's decision last year to cover up a "mama's boy" chest tattoo dedicated to his mother. Notably, David Beckham's own "Buster" neck tattoo, inked in honour of his son, remains visible.
