Brooklyn Beckham shows off 'anxious' tattoo amid Paris Fashion Week family rift
Brooklyn Beckham shows off 'anxious' tattoo in Paris

Brooklyn Beckham has shown off a bold tattoo of a handwritten note from his wife Nicola Peltz, instructing him what to do when he is "feeling anxious". The 27-year-old displayed the inking while posting about a fitting for the Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week, where his estranged mother Victoria was also holding a show.

Brooklyn showed off some skin as he posed at the rehearsal with his shirt off. His naked display led fans to read the extract of a love letter Nicola wrote him before their wedding.

The tattoo's message

In the letter, Nicola wrote: "My forever boy, read this anytime you feel anxious. I want you to know how deeply loved you are. You have the kindest heart I've ever met and I hope I never go a day without your love. I think you are so incredible. Just know we can get through it all together if you breathe slow and trust. I love you beyond. Love always, Your future wifey."

Brooklyn and Nicola got married four years ago in a now infamous ceremony. The wedding became subject to a swathe of public interest after Brooklyn slammed his parents' behaviour at it earlier this year.

Family rift details

The amateur chef shared a scathing six-page statement to Instagram in January, where he accused his parents, David and Victoria, of making remarks about family being blood. He also claimed that his mother tried to hijack his first dance with "inappropriate" dance moves.

The Beckhams have been estranged from their son since sometime last year, despite often being in the same city as him. Just this past week, Brooklyn and Nicola were mere miles away from Victoria and David, as all four attended Paris Fashion Week.

Paris Fashion Week encounters

Brooklyn and Nicola were seen all over Paris as Victoria's self-titled fashion brand held their runway show in the same city. While Victoria was supported by her husband and their three other children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, her eldest child steered clear.

After the show, Victoria appeared to hint at Brooklyn's absence in an Instagram post about how she was "blessed" to have family around her. "To my friends and family, I feel so blessed to have you all by my side xxx," she wrote online.

Earlier that day, David seemed to be sending another olive branch out to his estranged son by liking a video of Brooklyn at the MESSIKA show, but Brooklyn does not appear to have responded.

History of the estrangement

The last time Brooklyn and his wife attended a Victoria Beckham fashion show was September 2024, only a few months before rumours of a feud started to circulate. Not even a year later, Brooklyn had appeared to snub a number of family milestones, including his father's 50th birthday.

Brooklyn later claimed he tried to do something to celebrate his dad's birthday, but was "rejected" by David. He claimed he and Nicola waited in their hotel room for a week to try and spend some time with David privately, but the former footballer said no, unless it was to come to his birthday party where there would be cameras. He added that David "finally agreed" to see him, but only if Nicola wasn't there. Neither David nor Victoria have responded to Brooklyn's claims.
