The 27-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to wish the billionaire a happy 84th birthday, sharing a photo of the pair wearing garlands of flowers around their necks.
“Happy Birthday Nelson x I love you so much. I'm so happy I could celebrate you today. Thank you for being the best father-in-law,” Brooklyn wrote in the caption. The post comes after David, 51, shared a sweet photo of his firstborn on Father's Day, but Brooklyn did not acknowledge the gesture, fueling speculation about the family rift.
Nicola Peltz Also Celebrates Her Father
Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, also posted a heartfelt tribute to her father on Instagram. “Happy birthday Dad! I love celebrating you! I feel truly blessed to have grown up watching you be such an incredible role model in every way possible,” she wrote. “You’re the best father I could ever dream of. Nicola reportedly receives a monthly allowance of $1 million from her father, according to sources. The Peltz family pulled out all the stops to celebrate the mega mogul’s big day, with Brooklyn appearing in family photos alongside his wife.

The latest public display of affection for his father-in-law is seen as another dig at the Beckham family. The feud escalated recently when Brooklyn launched a DoorDash campaign, which many interpreted as a jab at his estranged family. In the ad, Brooklyn looks into the camera and says, “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home…It’s a long story.” The teaser concluded with the message: “It’s complicated. The Beckhams were reportedly heartbroken by the campaign. Tensions have been high since Brooklyn married Nicola in 2022, with reports of disagreements between Nicola and David’s wife, Victoria Beckham.
Harper’s Attempted Visit
Earlier this month, Brooklyn’s 14-year-old sister, Harper, attempted to visit him while the Beckham family was in Los Angeles for David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. However, Brooklyn and Nicola were not home, leaving Harper waiting outside the mansion. Photographers captured the young girl looking despondent as she handed a letter to a staff member.
Brooklyn’s team later issued a statement to Page Six, claiming the incident was staged. “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras,” a spokesperson said. However, Brooklyn was actually in New York City at the time, as shown by an Instagram post of him running in the Big Apple.
The family feud shows no signs of healing, with Brooklyn continuing to prioritize his relationship with the Peltz family over his own blood relatives.
