Brooklyn Beckham has once again snubbed his family by failing to attend a major milestone in his father David Beckham's career. The 27-year-old, who cut ties with his family in January, was notably absent from the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony held on Friday, June 12.
David Beckham Honored with Star
Football legend David Beckham, 51, unveiled his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, becoming the 2,849th recipient. Surrounded by his wife Victoria and their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, as well as A-list guests like Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, and Robbie Keane, David beamed with pride. However, eldest son Brooklyn was nowhere to be seen, despite living just minutes away.
David's Surprise at the Honor
Speaking to Variety before the unveiling, David expressed disbelief at receiving the honor. "All I wanted was to be a successful soccer player for Manchester United and England. That's all I cared about. I didn't care about the fame, the wealth, or the admiration. So now, having a star and becoming a 'sir' makes me feel very lucky."
Family Feud Remains Unresolved
When asked about the ongoing rift with Brooklyn, David declined to comment, calling it a "private matter." Brooklyn severed ties with his family in January, posting a scathing message accusing the Beckhams of prioritizing "Brand Beckham" over family. He also claimed his mother Victoria ruined his wedding to Nicola Peltz.
Victoria later addressed the situation without naming Brooklyn, stating, "When David and I first met, we never intended to start a brand. 'Brand Beckham' happened organically. We've always tried to protect our kids."
The snub marks the latest in a series of absences from family events, including his grandfather's funeral, as the feud continues.
