Brooklyn Beckham defiant in anniversary post to Nicola Peltz

Brooklyn Beckham has responded to his critics with a defiant Instagram post about his wife, Nicola Peltz, as the couple marked seven years together.

The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham shared a picture of the actress and billionaire's daughter, 31, looking shocked, writing: "Yes I am obsessed with my wife bring on the comments I don't care she's perfect."

Brooklyn, 27, added emojis of a red heart and a hand giving the middle finger to reinforce the message.

Seven Years of Marriage and Relationship Milestones

The couple celebrated seven years together on Thursday by sharing gushing posts about one another. The anniversary marks the length of their relationship, rather than their marriage.

Alongside a mirror selfie of them cosied up in matching shades while she held a huge red Chanel bag, Brooklyn wrote: "My beautiful Nicola, you mean absolutely everything to me. You're my whole world, my best friend, and the most important person in my life. I'm so lucky I get to love you and spend forever by your side. I love you more than words could ever explain."

Nicola responded in the replies, writing: "I more than love you!! my forever and ever!!"

Nicola's Emotional Tribute and Celebrity Reactions

Nicola was equally emotional in her own post, saying: "Happy anniversary my love, my best friend, my everything. I can't believe it's been 7 years by your side, i wouldn't wish for it any other way. I love you with my entire soul. i adore your love letters and morning coffees with our puppies please never change. I fall harder for you everyday."

The couple received comments from celebrity friends, including Elton John's husband David Furnish, who wrote: "Happy Happy Anniversary to the loveliest couple. You are so beautiful together."

Marriage and Vow Renewal Details

Brooklyn and Nicola married in April 2022 in Palm Beach, Florida, but no longer celebrate that date because it holds painful and uncomfortable memories from the family drama that ensued.

They now publicly celebrate the anniversary of their private vow renewal ceremony, which took place in August 2025 with Nicola's family but without any of the Beckhams.
