Brooke Hogan, daughter of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, has opened up about the heartbreaking final words she exchanged with her estranged father before his death last month. The 71-year-old WWE icon passed away on July 24.
In a recent interview, the mother of twins recounted advising her father about people she did not trust in his inner circle. She said: 'I said, “Dad, flashing yellow signs.” Like, “Hey, this is messed up. Are you going to do anything about it?”' Hogan's response was dismissive: 'Well, I guess you have to live your life and I have to live mine.'
Brooke also revealed a further painful incident witnessed by a contractor working on the family home. The contractor texted her afterwards, asking: 'Are you OK, kid? That hurt me watching what I saw.' She described her father as having become 'a little bit callous' in his old age.
Despite the rift, Brooke did not attend Hogan's funeral, instead opting to pay tribute privately. She took her twins and husband to the beach, saying: 'We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved.' Meanwhile, Hogan's third wife Sky Daily wrote a heartfelt tribute, calling him 'my Terry' and saying her heart was 'in pieces.'
