Kevin Federline Fears for Britney Spears in New Memoir

Kevin Federline has shared his fears for ex-wife Britney Spears following the publication of his memoir. The backing dancer, 47, was married to the pop star from 2004 to 2007, and he alleges in the book that Spears took cocaine while breastfeeding, among other claims.

During an appearance on ITV's This Morning, Federline defended the timing of his memoir, insisting it is a 'cry for help' for Spears, who he says is vulnerable and estranged from their sons, Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19. He claimed Sean has seen his mother only once in the past five years, in January, while Jayden has visited a few times but not recently.

Federline said: 'I think the clock is ticking on this. This book is not only me being able to bring the truth to light but it's a cry for help.' He added that interventions and rehab have not worked and he is pleading with the public to help.

Britney Spears responded on Instagram, accusing Federline of gaslighting and describing the situation as 'extremely hurtful and exhausting.' She stated she has always wanted a life with her boys but has felt demoralised by the lack of respect shown by their father. She said she will now let them know when she is available.
