Brian Cox, 77, has been ridiculed for his ill-fitting trousers during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The actor wore a pinstripe shirt with camel leather trousers and bright brogues, but suffered a wardrobe malfunction when his trousers rode up as he sat down, exposing the bottom of his legs.
Social media users rushed to X, formerly Twitter, to mock the Hollywood star's dress sense. One user joked: 'When you get dressed in the dark and put your wife's clothes on #BrianCox.' Another added: 'This photo screams of Brian Cox pooped himself before the show and these were the only replacement trousers available.'
The Succession star's fashion faux pas comes as he criticised directors, calling many 'idiots' for failing to inspire him. Speaking on BBC Maestro, Cox said: 'I’ve been very lucky with directors, but I’ve also worked with some real bozos. And they couldn’t direct a certain thing into a top hat.'
Cox, who now stars in the Amazon Prime series 007: Road To A Million, added that many directors 'don't do their homework' and 'forget about the acting'. He said: 'I really want directors who can inspire that and sadly not a lot of them do.'
