Loose Women star Brenda Edwards has confirmed she is in a relationship, sharing a sweet photo with her mystery boyfriend to mark their one-year anniversary. The singer, who joined the ITV panel show in 2019, posted the image on Instagram on 19 November, showing the couple holding hands.
In the caption, Edwards wrote: 'A year ago, you walked into my life with laughter in your beautiful eyes and so much unconditional love in your heart and every day since has been that much brighter.' She added: 'So here's to us, one year of laughter, love, and balance, and a lifetime still waiting to be written.'
Edwards' Loose Women co-stars were quick to send their congratulations. Ruth Langsford commented 'Happy anniversary,' while Denise Welch wrote 'SOFT LAUNCH!' and Christine Lampard sent love heart emojis. Fans also shared their delight, with one writing: 'Isn't love beautiful keep dreaming big Brenda.'
The mother of two, who lost her son Jamal in 2022, had previously hinted at the relationship during an appearance on Loose Women earlier this year. When asked about a holiday, she teased: 'I did have a holiday recently, with somebody...' before joking: 'That's all you're getting!' She added: 'Opposites do attract. I do believe that.'
Edwards, who rose to fame on The X Factor, has kept her personal life private until now. Her co-star Jane Moore noted it was 'early days,' but Edwards replied: 'Slow and steady wins the race.'
