Bradley Walsh Turns 66: Family Life with Wife and Son

Bradley Walsh, best known as the host of ITV's The Chase, celebrates his 66th birthday on 4 June. The television favourite has recently returned to screens alongside his son Barney, 28, for the seventh series of Breaking Dad, where they explore Australia.

Walsh lives in a £2.5 million converted barn in Essex with his wife, Donna Derby. The couple married in 1997. Derby, a former dancer, appeared in Robert Palmer's music video for Simply Irresistible. Together they have a son, Barney, who co-hosts Gladiators with his father and stars in Breaking Dad.

Before television, Walsh played professional football for Brentford in 1979, though he never made the first team. His presenting career began on The Wheel of Fortune, followed by acting roles in Coronation Street, Law and Order, and Doctor Who.

Walsh also has a daughter, Hayley, from a previous relationship with Debby Parker. Born in 1982, Hayley works as a reflexologist and lives in Hertfordshire with her husband Tom and son Dax. She gave birth in November 2021, making Walsh a grandfather for the first time. He told Saga magazine: 'I am a grandfather! My daughter and her husband, Tom, have a baby boy who is coming up to five months old.'
