Lee Ryan welcomes fourth child – a baby girl – and explains Blue tour absence

Lee Ryan has announced he has become a father for the fourth time after secretly welcoming a baby girl. The Blue singer shared the news on the band's official TikTok account, revealing the newborn was the reason he had been absent from their promotional tour.

The 39-year-old is already father to Bluebell, 14, with Jessica Keevil, Rayn, 13, with Samantha Miller, and a one-year-old daughter with his wife Verity Paris. The latest arrival is his second child with Verity.

In the video, Lee is seen cradling his three-week-old daughter and apologising to fans for missing promotional duties. He said: "Hey everyone. I just wanted to say sorry that I'm not there for the promo right now. Everything's ok... I've actually had a little baby. She's only three weeks old now, so I'm at home with my family, being a dad and being with the children." He joked, "Yep, that's your sister," as the baby was heard in the background.

Fans responded with support, with one writing "Respect this man! Family comes first," and another saying "Aww congratulations Lee & family." Others expressed relief that he was well, while some asked him to ensure he would still perform on the upcoming tour.

In March, Lee revealed he had secretly married Verity after a two-year relationship. He told The Sun at the time: "I met someone finally who loves and supports me in everything I do. Verity is a beautiful, strong and loving woman who I treasure... I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life because of the wonderful family life I now have." Verity previously appeared on The X Factor in 2009 and now works as an Ariana Grande lookalike.
