Boots has stocked the Love Island villa with a range of cosmetics and skincare from over 130 brands, including the Boots Hydrating PDRN Serum, which costs just £8 for a 30ml bottle. The serum, part of the K-beauty trend dominating 2026, has earned a near-perfect 4.7 rating from shoppers who praise its ability to make skin 'glow like crazy'.
K-Beauty Inspired Serum at Affordable Price
The Boots Hydrating PDRN Serum uses PDRN, a viral ingredient found in products like Medicube's pink salmon serum, to provide 'deep hydration' and 'moisture'. Combined with vitamin B5, it claims to leave skin feeling firmer, more supple and radiant after one use. The non-comedogenic formula suits all skin types, including sensitive, and can be applied by patting into the skin after cleansing, both morning and evening.
Boots has also launched its own skincare line dedicated to other K-beauty ingredients, such as the Centella Cleansing Oil (200ml) for £8.50 and the Exfoliating AHA/BHA Pore Pads (70 pads) for £8.
Shoppers Rave About the Glow
One five-star review read: 'Best serum I've ever used! This serum literally makes me skin glow like crazy! My skin feels so hydrated and soft, it's my go to serum now. The glow it gives is not greasy or wet either so you glow even under makeup.' Another reviewer called it an 'amazing little gem' that 'soothed my skin, made it bouncy and glowy, and calmed inflammation'. A third wrote: 'My first time trying PDRN and I’m converted. My skin feels so hydrated and looks brighter. Super lightweight texture and doesn’t pill. Incredible serum!!!'
Not all feedback was positive: one shopper left a two-star review, saying the serum was 'pointless' as they noticed no difference after twice-daily use for a month. However, another complimentary review noted a 'visible difference' in smoother, brighter skin and recommended it.
