Bonnie Anderson, known for her role as Bea Nillson in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, has announced she is pregnant with her first child. The actress and her fiancé Sam Morrison shared the news on Instagram, expressing their excitement for the new arrival.

The pregnancy announcement comes as Anderson prepares to return to Neighbours for its finale, scheduled to air on August 1. She first joined the show in 2018 and left last year, but will reprise her role alongside on-screen sister Elly Conway, played by Jodi Gordon, as part of a series of character comebacks.

In her Instagram post, Anderson shared photos of herself and Morrison by the sea, with one image featuring a road sign reading 'Bump ahead'. The caption read: 'BUMP AHEAD 💫🤰🏽 The best is yet to come and we couldn't be more excited.' The post received congratulations from fellow celebrities, including Big Brother Australia star Tahan Lew-Fatt and Masterchef Australia contestant Diana Chan.

Anderson and Morrison became engaged in April, with the actress announcing the news on social media, saying she 'can't believe it' and calling Morrison her 'best friend'. The couple are now preparing for both marriage and parenthood.

Anderson, who also sings the Neighbours theme song, has previously hinted at a return to the show, describing it as an 'incredible training ground'. The finale will feature other returning characters, including Scott and Charlene Robinson (Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue), Harold Bishop (Ian Smith), and Joe Mangle (Mark Little), as the soap concludes after 37 years.
