Bobby Norris has revealed the staggering amount he has spent on cosmetic fillers in his quest to transform his appearance. The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 39, confessed to spending more than £50,000 on fillers before undergoing a facelift.
Confession on Daytime TV
Appearing on Vanessa Feltz's daytime television programme, Bobby acknowledged that he had 'abused' the treatment prior to going under the knife. Vanessa remarked, 'One of the reasons you've been in the papers a lot recently is all the cosmetic work and treatments, and surgeries. You've had quite a lot of them.'
Bobby replied, 'I think the penny is slowly dropping that I'm really open. I think to be on a reality show for 10 years, for 15 years, do various reality shows and social media, it's an open book. I'm not gonna put the genie back in the bottle. And I think for people who follow and watch on social media and TV and stuff, I think it's important to be honest.'
He continued, 'I've documented the whole thing. I mean, there are photos and videos I could have posted that I didn't. Do you know what I mean? I think a lot of people think surgery is like going on Stars in Your Eyes. You walk through the door, and in 20 minutes, you will have a new face or new boobs. That isn't the reality.'
Procedures Over the Years
When Vanessa displayed a photograph of Bobby from his TOWIE debut in 2012, showing him without any cosmetic enhancements, she enquired about the procedures he had undergone since. Bobby quipped, 'Right so what's still left?' He admitted, 'Nose is different, teeth is different, hairline is different, beard, face, cheeks, neck, everything. Apart from the eyes.'
Vanessa seemed baffled as to why he would undergo so much work at such a young age. 'I mean I can't really work out why you would have done that,' she admitted, before describing him as a handsome bloke.
Bobby explained it was all due to his stretched cheeks caused by overuse of fillers. Vanessa quizzed him on the total he had splashed out on fillers over the years, and he stunningly disclosed, 'Oh, if you were.. I think someone said it's more than 50 grand.'
Reunion Hopes with Gemma Collins
Moving away from the cosmetic surgery chat, Bobby disclosed he would be keen to patch things up with his former best mate Gemma Collins. The pair haven't spoken to each other for seven years after a dramatic bust-up.
In a message to her, he said, 'I'd say let's catch up. Let's go and have some lunch. We used to have the best times. We would go to a health farm for one day and still be there a week later, we would just ring down and say, We're staying another day.'
Bobby said people mature and their row wasn't anything that was 'overly deep'. He told the presenter, 'I'm just about loyalty. But what I've realised is, and I think maybe it's part of growing up and stuff is what you bring to the table, whether it's a relationship or friendship.'
The pair were once viewer favourites on the popular reality TV programme, and fans would be thrilled to see them reunite.
