Bobby Norris, known for his role on The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE), has sparked concern among fans after sharing a video of his bruised post-operative appearance following a face and neck lift. The 39-year-old reality star posted the footage on Instagram on Friday, showing himself slowly sipping tea from a hospital bed.
In the video, Norris struggled to speak clearly and gave followers a glimpse of his hospital meal, which included various cheeses and spreads. He captioned the post: 'First Breakfast Post Op [hospital emoji] BUT most importantly, my morning nectar!!! Are you a tea or a coffee person in the morning?'
Fans quickly expressed their worries in the comments section. One wrote: 'Why are you putting yourself & your family through this torture. I know it’s your decision & hopefully you’ll be happy with the result.' Another said: 'Oh Bobby you’re so handsome, why put yourself through this? You’re so loved.'
Norris recently opened up about his insecurities, telling the Daily Mail that his decision to undergo surgery stemmed from comparing himself to other male cast members on TOWIE, whom he described as 'chiselled' and 'muscular.' He admitted: 'It was my own insecurities.'
In 2022, Norris dissolved his facial fillers and stopped using Botox, opting for a more natural look. He explained at the time: 'I'd just got to a point where I thought it's time for a change.'
