Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds made a rare joint public appearance on 27 April at the New York City premiere of Lively's new film, Another Simple Favor. The couple, who are currently embroiled in a legal battle with Justin Baldoni, posed together on the red carpet.
Lively wore a pastel mint gown by Tamara Ralph, accessorised with large drop earrings and a statement bracelet. Reynolds opted for a textured grey suit and sunglasses. At the after-party, Lively changed into a yellow outfit by Sergio Hudson, including a butter yellow t-shirt, silk skirt and belt, and carried a martini glass-shaped clutch by Judith Leiber.
The actress has been actively promoting the sequel to the 2018 film A Simple Favor, which also stars Anna Kendrick and Henry Golding. While she has made several public appearances recently, she has often attended solo, possibly due to the ongoing legal dispute.
In December, Lively sued Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign. Baldoni has denied the allegations and countersued both Lively and Reynolds. The litigation continues. Another Simple Favor will be available to stream on Prime Video from 1 May.
