Big Brother stars Elsa Rae and Marcus John have announced their engagement, just weeks after revealing they are expecting their first child together. The couple, who met on the reality show in September, shared the news on social media on Thursday.
Elsa, 21, posted a series of photos showing off her diamond engagement ring, with the couple cuddling on a picnic blanket. She captioned the post: 'The most special ring, on the most special day, we have come so far.' Marcus, 22, proposed during an intimate picnic, where they also discovered the baby's gender.
Fans flooded the comments with congratulations. One wrote: 'Ahhhh, it's just good news after good news, congrats guys.' Another said: 'ENGAGED??!?!?!??!? WE LOVE TO SEE IT.'
The pregnancy was announced on March 29 on Instagram, with a photo of a baby scan, a white baby grow reading 'and then there were three', and neutral-toned baby booties. They captioned it: 'We’ve been keeping a little secret…our bubba due October 2026! We are so very excited.'
In November 2025, after the Big Brother final, Marcus asked Elsa to be his girlfriend with a room filled with red heart balloons and rose petals, set to the Dirty Dancing theme song. The final saw Richard win the £100,000 prize.
