Jamie Bamber, known for playing Archie Hughes in the BBC detective series Beyond Paradise, has been married to actress Kerry Norton for over 22 years. The couple met on the set of the film The Devil's Tattoo in 2001 and married in 2003.

Kerry Norton is best known for her recurring role as paramedic and medical officer Layne Ishay on the sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica. She has also appeared in Casualty, Berlin Station, Trader, and EastEnders. In addition to acting, she pursued a music career, releasing an album of covers titled Young Heart in 2005 and recording a duet with Dutch singer Rene Froger for his Christmas album Pure Christmas.

Bamber's character Archie Hughes was introduced in season one of Beyond Paradise in 2023 as Martha Lloyd's former business partner and ex-fiancé. Archie later had a secret romance with DS Esther Williams, played by Zahra Ahmadi, which ended in a reunion at the end of season four.
Family Life
Jamie and Kerry have three daughters: Isla and twins Darcy and Ava. The twins celebrated their 21st birthdays in August 2025, with Jamie posting on Instagram: "Our amazing daughters Ava and Darcy celebrated #21stBirthdays yesterday. It was the first they spent apart (Ava in Montreal) but it's been two weeks of celebrations! I am beyond proud of them. Bright, funny, curious, engaged."
In 2023, Jamie wished his wife a happy birthday on Instagram, writing: "Happy Birthday to my gorgeous Kerry. Wife, mother, golfing budding, hole-in-one-party piece specialist, through ups and downs best friend, compass and collaborator. I love you."
