Beyoncé Celebrates 42nd Birthday with 70,000 Fans at SoFi Stadium

Beyoncé is marking her 42nd birthday on Monday by taking the stage at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where she will perform in front of 70,000 fans as part of her Renaissance World Tour.

The singer, who is currently in the final month of her tour, has asked concertgoers to help celebrate her big day by wearing silver outfits. On Instagram Stories, she wrote: 'Virgo season is upon us. This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the show.'

Despite performing on her birthday, Beyoncé has a week off after Monday, with no tour dates scheduled until 11 September, when she returns to the stage in Vancouver, Canada. This break will allow her to celebrate with her husband, Jay Z, and their children Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir.

The family's Bel Air home is only a 25-minute drive from the stadium, so the singer can return home after the concert. Last year, she hosted a roller disco-themed party for her 41st birthday, with guests including Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly, Drake, Lizzo and Adele. It is unclear whether this year's celebrations will include a similar event.

Notably, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended Beyoncé's concert over the weekend, adhering to the silver dress code, with Meghan Markle wearing a glittering silver skirt. They may be among those invited to any private birthday festivities.
