Coronation Street fans are speculating about the cause of Betsy Swain's hospitalisation after spoilers revealed the teen will be rushed to hospital in next week's episodes, leaving loved ones concerned.
Betsy's Collapse and Hospital Dash
New spoilers for the ITV soap confirm that Betsy will be left fighting for her life. After a disastrous attempt at cooking breakfast for Dylan Wilson, Betsy asks him for cooking lessons. Dylan teaches her to make Bolognese and assures her their long-distance relationship will work. However, disaster strikes, and an ambulance pulls away from No.6 with its siren blaring. At the hospital, Ryan Connor explains to Carla how he returned home to find Betsy unconscious on the kitchen floor. At Betsy's bedside, a nurse tells a tearful Lisa that they are taking Betsy for an MRI scan. Dylan arrives but runs out of the room, saying Betsy seems to be having a fit.
