Jordon Hudson, the 24-year-old girlfriend of former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, has publicly responded to a social media user who criticised their relationship. Hudson shared a direct message she received on Instagram from a user named Abby Riley, who described the relationship as 'insane'.
In her response, Hudson questioned why a stranger would take the time to send a harassing message about a personal relationship they do not fully know. She also corrected the grammar in the original message, adding a comma and a question mark. Hudson then added a poll to her Instagram Story asking followers which was poorer: Abby's manners or her punctuation skills.
The couple, who have a nearly 50-year age gap, have previously been the subject of jokes, including a comment from Snoop Dogg at the NFL Honors Awards in February. The rapper remarked that Hudson was not even born when Belichick started coaching. However, the couple appeared to take the joke in good spirits.
In a Valentine's Day post, Hudson wrote about love not discriminating against age, sex, skin colour, religion or ability. She argued that personal preferences in romance require no justification or explanation. The pair reportedly began dating in June 2024, having met on a flight from Boston to Florida in 2021. Belichick was previously in a 16-year relationship with Linda Holliday, which ended in September 2023.
