David Beckham's Secret Olive Branch to Brooklyn & Nicola Snubbed
Beckham's secret peace offer to son Brooklyn rejected

Sir David Beckham made a covert, last-ditch attempt to reconcile with his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz ahead of his historic knighthood ceremony, it has been reported.

A Royal Snub and a Secret Invitation

In October, the former England captain was knighted by King Charles in a ceremony at Windsor Castle. However, the occasion was marred by the conspicuous absence of his eldest son, Brooklyn, 26, and his actress wife, Nicola Peltz.

It is now understood that Sir David personally reached out to the couple ahead of the event. He reportedly offered Brooklyn a place at the Windsor Castle investiture and extended a separate invitation to Nicola for a late-night dinner celebration at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in west London.

According to reports, the couple, who live in the United States, declined both invitations. This left David's wife Victoria, his three other children, and his parents, Ted and Sandra Beckham, to celebrate the honour without them.

A Deepening Family Rift

This snub marks the latest in a series of major family events missed by Brooklyn and Nicola throughout the year. The pair also did not attend Sir David's 50th birthday party or the red-carpet premiere of Victoria Beckham's Netflix documentary.

The feud, which has reportedly been simmering for almost four years, escalated last summer. It is claimed that Brooklyn sent a legal letter to his parents requesting that all contact go through lawyers and that they refrain from tagging him on social media.

The situation worsened when Brooklyn allegedly blocked his immediate family on social media after Victoria liked a post of his chicken-in-beer recipe. A source described David and Victoria as "utterly bemused and devastated" by the estrangement.

Grandparents Caught in the Middle

Amid the very public fallout, speculation grew that Brooklyn had also cut ties with his grandparents. This was fuelled by his lack of public response to a comment from his grandmother, Sandra Beckham, on one of his posts.

However, it has since been revealed that Brooklyn is in private contact with all his grandparents. Reports state he has had phone calls and texts with both his maternal grandparents, Jackie and Tony Adams, and his paternal grandparents, Ted and Sandra Beckham, including over the recent Christmas period.

While this private line of communication remains open, the chasm between Brooklyn and his parents appears as wide as ever. The family now faces an uncertain future, with hopes for a reconciliation seeming distant.
