On Thursday's instalment of BBC Breakfast, Charlie Stayt headed outside the studio to speak to some unexpected guests.
As the award-winning theatre production Dinosaur World Live is returning to the stage, the BBC star spoke to a character in the show called Miranda, who plays the daughter of a palaeontologist and grew up surrounded by dinosaurs.
However, as the guest stayed in her character while trying to tame the huge dinosaur puppets, it wasn't long before people commented on the interview.
Mixed reactions from viewers
One person said: "A word in your ear, Miranda. These dinosaurs aren't real, so you can calm it down a bit."
Someone else shared: "Good grief. This is so embarrassing. I know it's for kids, but." As another added: "Charlie's face, he just wants it to end."
While some enjoyed the light-hearted segment, adding, "Howling at Charlie and the dinosaurs. 'Miranda' is an absolute star."
Another wrote: "She was fun! I loved her enthusiasm." Charlie himself applauded her as he remarked: "I'm loving by the way the fact you're staying in character all the time, well done!"
Previous interview criticism
This comes after people were less than impressed with Naga Munchetty's interview with Chief Secretary to the Treasury Emma Reynolds.
The star was speaking to the MP after the government announced that pubs, clubs and music venues in England would be given a 20% cut in business rates from April, reports the Mirror.
During their chat, viewers accused Naga of not letting the MP speak as one person raged: "Naga was awful. She kept interrupting. Why ask a question when you won't let her answer?"
While some were thrilled with the assertive approach, adding: " #BBCBreakfast spot on Naga, the previous relief wasn't enough if the whole point is they are still closing down."
