Presenter pays tribute on air

During the programme, presenter Sally Nugent told viewers: "Tributes to Jeffrey Archer, the best-selling author and politician, who died suddenly at the age of 86."

As a clip of the late writer's BBC interview aired on screen, Sally's co-host, Jon Kay, continued: "He sold over 300 million books and was sent to prison for lying in court. Only last week, Lord Archer spoke to BBC Breakfast about his final novel, which has published today."
