Three Ayrshire women wrote their names into the history books after the region crowned its first regional Miss Great Britain winners at a glittering finale held at Troon Town Hall. The event marked the first time in the competition's 81-year history that Ayrshire hosted an official regional final.
Hundreds attended to watch 23 inspiring women from across the region take to the stage to impress the judges. Ayr's Robyn Archibald was crowned Miss Great Britain Ayrshire 2026 in the 18 to 30 category. Runners-up were Kayleigh McKay, Sarah Cannan, Elizabeth Dorans, and Dionne Hair.
Ms Great Britain Ayrshire 2026 Winner
Michelle Howie, from Kilwinning, won the Ms Great Britain Ayrshire 2026 category for 31 to 44-year-olds. Runners-up were Hayley Findlay and Emma Cowley.
Classic Category Winner
Prestwick glam gran Anne-Marie Harper, 71, was crowned Ms Great Britain Classic Ayrshire 2026 in the 45 years and over category. Michelle Moffat was the runner-up.
Now the trio of exceptional ladies will travel to Leicester in October to compete at the glittering Miss Great Britain final.
Charitable Success
A spokesperson for Miss Great Britain Ayrshire said: “While the crowns were awarded to three deserving women, every finalist played a part in the event’s incredible charitable success. Together with the event organisers, the contestants have helped raise an outstanding £30,000 for numerous charities across Ayrshire, demonstrating that the competition is about far more than beauty – it’s about community, compassion and creating a lasting impact.”
The event was proudly sponsored by Haus of Dentistry, EssJay Electrical, Unbridaled, Jewel Room, SLS Medical, and Wood Group Bronzed, whose support helped make the competition possible, alongside many local businesses that backed the event.
