Reality TV star Ashley Cain has announced the death of his beloved grandmother, sharing a heartfelt tribute on social media. The former Ex on the Beach star, whose daughter Azaylia died at eight months old in 2021, posted a photo holding his grandmother's hand and wrote a moving message about her impact on his life.
A Lifelong Bond
In his tribute, Ashley described his grandmother as his "carer, protector, confidant and second mum." He wrote: "She helped raise me, shaped me and loved me through every chapter of my life. When I look back now, I realise just how much of the man I’ve become was built on the love she gave me." He recalled childhood memories, including having dinner ready and kicking a football with her when no one else would.
Heartfelt Words
Ashley thanked her for her sacrifices: "Thank you for every meal, every hug, every prayer, every lesson and every act of love that helped shape my life." He ended with a poignant request: "Please give Azaylia the biggest kiss and cuddle, and keep looking after her for me in the heavens above. Rest in eternal paradise, Grandma. Until we meet again."

Ashley had previously shared a video dancing with his grandmother on her 90th birthday, slow dancing to Wet Wet Wet's Love Is All Around. He wrote at the time: "My relationship with her is something truly special, and I will forever be grateful for everything she taught me."
