Apple Martin, the 20-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, has been caught on camera rolling her eyes at a debutante ball, prompting fresh debate over 'nepo baby' accusations. The moment occurred at Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris on Saturday, where she attended with Count Leo Henckel von Donnersmarck.
Apple turned heads in a custom Valentino gown designed by Alessandro Michele, which took 750 hours to create. The strapless bleu ciel dress featured six tiers of silk plissé chiffon and a black silk bow. She completed the look with matching blue sandals.
TikTok users were divided over her behaviour. Some called her 'sassy' and 'a diva', while others questioned her attitude. One viewer wrote: 'I think she's really adorable,' and another added: 'She knows the cameras are on her and she is totally showing off.' The eye roll was widely shared and laughed at.
Proud mother Gwyneth Paltrow shared photos from the event on Instagram, noting a 'special long weekend in Paris'. She was accompanied by ex-husband Chris Martin and her mother Blythe Danner. Apple's brother Moses, 18, also attended and has recently launched a band called DANCER, following in his father's musical footsteps.
