Strictly's Anton Du Beke Reveals Heartbreaking Reason He'll Never Dance with Wife Hannah Again
Anton Du Beke reveals why he won't dance with wife Hannah

Strictly Come Dancing legend Anton Du Beke has shared a deeply personal revelation about why he will never dance with his wife, Hannah Summers, again. The professional dancer, who has been a staple on the BBC show since its inception, opened up about the emotional reason behind this decision in a candid interview.

Anton, 57, married Hannah in 2017 after 11 years together, and the couple are proud parents to twins George and Henrietta. Despite his glittering career on the dance floor, Anton confessed that he and Hannah will never perform together professionally.

The Heartbreaking Reason

"It's simply because she's not a dancer," Anton explained. "Hannah has never trained in dance, and while she enjoys it socially, it wouldn't be fair to put her in that position. I've spent my life perfecting my craft, and dancing with a non-professional would be frustrating for both of us."

He added, "We have danced together at weddings and parties, of course, but that's just for fun. The Strictly ballroom is a different world."

A Loving Partnership

Despite this, Anton gushed about his wife's unwavering support throughout his career. "Hannah is my rock. She understands the demands of my job and never complains about the long hours or time away from home. I couldn't do it without her."

The couple met in 2006 at a golf club, and Anton has often credited Hannah for bringing stability and happiness into his life. "She's my everything," he said. "Even if we never dance together professionally, we'll always be partners in life."
