Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke has opened up about his family life, revealing that he will not dance with his wife Hannah Summers. The professional dancer, who met Hannah at a dinner party in 2011, said he was instantly smitten and even followed her to the toilet to speak to her alone.
Speaking on Steph's Packed Lunch in 2021, Anton recalled: 'I knew almost immediately that I loved her. She also loved me immediately but I was holding a bottle of wine.' He admitted the exchange made him 'look a bit weird' but he told her he loved her there and then.
The couple struggled to conceive due to Hannah's endometriosis, but welcomed twins George and Henrietta in 2017 after successful IVF. Anton, now 58, said becoming a father at 51 was 'the best thing that ever happened' in his life.
Anton also gave a rare insight into his home life, sharing that his children are his greatest joy. He said: 'When I got home from the NTAs, I put the award on the bedside table. George came in the next morning and asked, 'Daddy, did you win a trophy? Or is it a medal?''
The family lives in a stunning countryside home in Buckinghamshire, which Anton has shown glimpses of on social media and TV appearances. The rustic kitchen features exposed brick and colourful red accessories.
