Countryfile presenter Anita Rani has revealed how she and her husband Bhupi Rehal have been navigating life during lockdown. In an exclusive interview with HELLO!, the TV star shared that the pandemic has prompted her to reassess her priorities.
Anita said: "It's become a reality that we don't have control over so many things in our life. For me, it's a matter of evaluating what's important." She added that she has been enjoying spending quality time with Bhupi, describing it as "fabulous."
The couple, who have been married for over a decade, have used the lockdown to strengthen their bond. Anita expressed gratitude for her circumstances, acknowledging that many others are facing more difficult situations.
In a candid moment, Anita also spoke about her experience of suffering a miscarriage in 2018. She described the topic as a "taboo" that needs to be discussed openly. "So many women – and men – got in touch to say: 'We've carried this as a secret, but well done you for bringing it out into the open,'" she recalled.
Anita emphasised the importance of using her platform to address such issues. "I've been gifted this amazing platform and a voice, and I feel I should use them for the positive," she said. She previously told Mail Online that the experience was "trauma" and that it "catches up with you."
