Rapper Angry Ginge has been officially crowned the King of the Jungle for 2025, triumphing in a heart-stopping final of ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! that kept millions of viewers glued to their screens.
A Victory Decided by the Narrowest of Margins
The grand finale, which aired on Sunday, 7 December 2025, delivered an incredible climax as Angry Ginge edged out his final competitor, language expert Tom Read Wilson. Show insiders have revealed the result came down to one of the closest public votes in the show's long history, making the victory all the more dramatic. Finishing in third place was EastEnders actress Shona McGarty.
From Jungle Despair to Ultimate Triumph
The newly crowned champion's journey to the title was far from smooth. In a candid exit interview, the star, whose real name is Aitch, confessed there were moments he seriously considered quitting the gruelling jungle experience altogether.
"I was dying to do a runner on a couple of occasions," he admitted. The rapper described a specific low point where he nearly broke. "There was a certain day where I thought to myself, 'I need to go in this Bush Telegraph now and say, 'Please, someone come and save me. I need to go.''"
The Psychological Battle of the Jungle
Angry Ginge pinpointed the relentless, 24/7 nature of the reality show as his biggest challenge. He struggled with the complete lack of privacy, a common but intense hurdle for celebrities in the camp.
"It’s weird because you want to go off and have your little moment to yourself," he explained. "But then when you go and do that, you clock that there's cameras around, and then you start tripping, thinking, ‘Oh, I don't want to look like I'm having this alone moment for the camera.’ So then you're turning around, going back to the camp, but you're not ready to be surrounded by 12 people yet. So it gets a lot."
He identified the middle phase of the series as his toughest period psychologically. "The middle for me was the lowest part," he said, "because you're stuck in a position where it's like, ‘You've come too far to give up now, but there's still ages to go.’ At the start you can't give up because you're thinking, ‘I've only been here for five days. Sort your head out.’ And then at the end, you're thinking, ‘Oh well, there's only five days to go, so suck it up and go for it.’ But in that middle point, you're like, 'Whoa, I've been here for ages, and I've still got to be here for ages.'"
His perseverance through this mental battle ultimately paid off, culminating in his dramatic and narrow victory. The win secures Angry Ginge's place in I'm A Celebrity folklore, having survived the infamous Bushtucker Trials, camp tensions, and his own personal doubts to claim the coveted title.
