Andy Carroll and Billi Mucklow Confirm Divorce After Two Years of Marriage

Former Premier League striker Andy Carroll has announced that he is divorcing his wife, reality TV star Billi Mucklow, after two years of marriage. The couple, who have been together for 11 years, separated earlier this year but kept the news private from fans.

Despite the split, the pair continued to post loved-up photographs on social media, including images from a wedding in June 2024 and a dinner on the Amalfi Coast. This strategy successfully hid any signs of trouble in their relationship from the public.

Carroll now plays for Bordeaux in the French fourth division, earning just £750 per week, a significant drop from his Premier League wages of £23,000 per week. He admitted that playing for the club is costing him money. Meanwhile, Mucklow remained in Essex with their children.

In a statement, Carroll said: 'Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings. It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children.' A source added that the couple 'grew apart' but remain focused on co-parenting their three children, aged nine, six and four. Carroll also has two older children from a previous relationship.
