Lou Teasdale denies friends hated Andy Carroll amid split rumours

Lou Teasdale has broken her silence on reports that her friends were glad to see the back of footballer Andy Carroll, insisting they “love” him. The 41-year-old former One Direction stylist took to Instagram Stories to refute claims made in a Daily Mail article, which alleged her inner circle had urged her to end the year-long relationship.

The denial comes after a week of conflicting reports about the couple's status, with sources claiming toxic rows and lifestyle differences had driven them apart. Carroll, 36, who recently signed for Dagenham & Redbridge, was said to have grown tired of Teasdale's influencer lifestyle, while others insisted she walked away following alcohol-fuelled arguments.

In a dramatic turn, Carroll re-followed Teasdale on Instagram and unarchived photos of the couple, including a May holiday snap captioned “my love”. This came after he had apparently blocked her and removed all traces of her from his profile earlier in the week.

Teasdale, currently on holiday in Ibiza, is reportedly “unimpressed” by Carroll's attempts to reconcile, which allegedly included chartering a private jet to the island to find her. A source claimed she wants to be left alone with her family and is not interested in patching things up.

The pair began dating last year after Carroll's split from TOWIE star Billi Mucklow, mother of his three youngest children. Teasdale has a daughter from a previous relationship.
