Lou Teasdale Denies Friends Hated Andy Carroll as Reconciliation Rumours Swirl

Lou Teasdale has broken her silence on speculation that she and footballer Andy Carroll have split, following a series of dramatic social media moves by the former England striker. The 41-year-old stylist addressed conflicting reports about their relationship after Carroll re-followed her on Instagram and unarchived pictures of them together.

Earlier this week, it appeared Carroll had blocked Teasdale on Instagram and removed all snaps of her from his grid, including a May post from Ibiza in which he called her 'my love'. But the images re-emerged on Thursday morning as Teasdale shared a defiant statement, and Carroll once again became one of her 5.7 million followers.

In a now-deleted Instagram Story, Teasdale shared a screenshot of a Daily Mail article quoting a friend who said 'we all hated Andy' and that friends had 'pleaded with her to end it'. She wrote: 'Nasty and not true. My friends love Andy.'

Rumours of a split had circulated earlier in the week, with one source claiming Carroll, 36, had ended things because he 'got sick of Lou's demands and her influencer lifestyle'. However, other insiders alleged that Teasdale walked away after a series of 'alcohol-fuelled arguments'. It was also reported that Carroll flew to Ibiza, where Teasdale is on holiday, via private jet in a bid to reconcile, but that she was 'unimpressed' and 'not interested'.

Teasdale and Carroll began dating last year following his split from ex-wife Billi Mucklow, the mother of his three youngest children. The couple's year-long romance has been marred by 'toxic rows', according to reports, though Teasdale’s statement suggests the relationship may still be on track.
