Andi Peters celebrated his 56th birthday on July 29 during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, surprising viewers who have long commented on his youthful appearance. The presenter, who first rose to fame on The Broom Cupboard in the late 1980s, has often been told he doesn't seem to age.

Birthday Cake and Competition Winner
During the show, Andi was presented with a birthday cake shaped like a red phone, resembling the one he uses for GMB competitions. He also met recent competition winner Maureen, who won £250,000. Asking if the win had sunk in, Maureen replied: 'Oh, I don't know. I suppose it has, but it's well, it's so much to take in, isn't it?' Andi recalled how he had been saying 'answer the phone, answer the phone' because Maureen had the TV sound turned down.
When asked what she planned to do with the money, Maureen said: 'Well, I mean, you can't really get your head around it straight away, but I will arrange a lovely family holiday with my children and grandchildren and close people and something with some very good friends. But apart from that, I'm just so grateful I've been able to do so much for the children, really.'

Andi began his TV career in the 1980s and was hired by the BBC in 1989 as a presenter for The Broom Cupboard, succeeding Phillip Schofield and Andy Crane. He later fronted Take Two and Live & Kicking with Emma Forbes and John Barrowman, and is also known for GMTV and Lorraine. Fans may not know that Andi had a minor voice role in the 1999 animated film Toy Story 2 as Male Baggage Handler #1.
