Former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has previously heaped praise on Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye, who has now emerged as a transfer target for the Red Devils. According to the Manchester Evening News, United have added the 26-year-old to their shortlist as they seek to bolster their left-wing options in the upcoming summer window.
Amorim's Admiration for Ndiaye
Speaking before the two sides met at Old Trafford in November last year, Amorim identified Ndiaye as one of two players capable of causing problems for United's defence. The Portuguese coach said: 'I think Jack Grealish is doing really well. He can push that team, can give weight to that team. Iliman Ndiaye is an amazing player.'
Amorim also praised Everton manager David Moyes, adding: 'So, all these things, it is a more complete team, and David Moyes is doing an amazing job. It's going to be really, really tough to win the game.' Moyes' side went on to secure a stunning 1-0 victory despite playing most of the match with 10 men after Idrissa Gana Gueye was sent off for striking former United player Michael Keane.

He has three years remaining on his Everton contract, potentially making him a more affordable option compared to other targets. United have also shown interest in RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, valued at £86 million, and Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers, who is reportedly priced at £80 million.
