The woman explained that she met the Tartan Army member at a well-known Boston pub called the Dubliner. After watching a World Cup match together and meeting up several times while he was in the city, the man invited her to join him in Miami for Scotland's upcoming game against Brazil. The radio hosts, from station kiss108, shared a clip on Instagram on June 22, asking viewers: "Would you fly to Miami with a Scottish man that you just met at a bar? Should she do it for the plot?"

During the phone call, the woman admitted: "I'm going to Miami with a Scottish guy that I just met like five days ago and I'm trying to figure out if I'm insane or being rational right now.
