Amanda Owen Takes Swipe at Ex-Husband Clive, Reveals Why They Haven't Divorced

Amanda Owen has made a pointed remark about her ex-husband Clive, admitting that a romantic reunion is out of the question. The 51-year-old star of Our Yorkshire Farm told Hello Magazine: 'He's still the same annoying old Clive that he always was. I've seen him just now, and he's still annoying - I annoy him, and he annoys me.'

Despite their split after 22 years of marriage, Amanda and Clive remain closely connected, living just a mile apart and continuing to work together on their farm and a renovation project. Amanda explained that a formal divorce is complicated because their lives and businesses are 'so intertwined.' She questioned: 'Who would get custody of all the sheep and the dogs and the horses, and who would want custody?'

The couple, who have nine children, are still filming together for their series Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids. Amanda acknowledged the arrangement is unconventional but functional. Clive has described their situation as 'a crazy situation but it isn't - it's the most sensible thing for everybody to do.'

Amanda recently shared an anecdote about Clive on Lorraine, revealing he had mistakenly fried eggs in yellow washing-up liquid instead of cooking oil. She said: 'He was complaining that I shouldn't buy washing up liquid in yellow. Washing up liquid should only be green. We are up against it, believe me, but the idea is that we're just getting on with it.'
