Former 'A Place in the Sun' presenter Amanda Lamb, 49, has delighted fans with a series of Instagram snaps showing her enjoying a swim in a plunging one-piece swimsuit during a family trip to Clovelly, Devon. The television star posed in the water with her children, appearing make-up free and with her hair tied back in a ponytail.
Captioning the post, Lamb wrote: “Well that perked us up. Swimming in @clovellyvillage harbour has been one of the highlights of the trip. Much shrieking and laughter could be heard once I’d got over the shock!” She added that this would be her last swimsuit picture, joking: “Even I’m getting bored of them now.”
Fans responded with praise, with one commenting: “Looks really cold I don't know how you do it.” Another said: “Clovelly! My happy place! I only managed up to my knees there in August!”
Lamb previously purchased a coastal property in Devon, which she described as her family's “little escape route”. She joked that she had to “sell several kidneys” to afford it. The presenter quit 'A Place in the Sun' in 2005 to focus on family life but has not ruled out a return to the show now that her two daughters, aged 12 and eight, are older.
