Amanda Holden has hit back at critics who condemned her for sharing a photo of herself kissing her six-year-old daughter Hollie on the lips. The Britain's Got Talent judge, 47, posted the sweet snap on Instagram, showing her pecking her little one as Hollie wraps her arm around her.
The image drew comparisons to the backlash David Beckham faced for a similar photo with his daughter Harper. Several fans warned Holden that trolls might label the gesture as 'perverted'. However, the TV presenter dismissed the negativity, replying to one follower: 'I think people who question and write otherwise really aren’t well!!'
Another fan defended the kiss, writing: 'My son is 13 and still kisses me on the lips! And there is NOTHING wrong with that.' Holden responded: 'Exactly.' She also added: 'B******s to them. #family. They’re not well x.'
The controversy comes shortly after Holden and her husband Chris Hughes celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. The couple, who married in December 2008 at Babington House in Somerset, have two daughters: Lexi, 12, and Hollie, six.
