Amanda Holden has left her Heart Radio co-star Jamie Theakston stunned after revealing she kisses her husband Chris Hughes at least 10 times a day. The 55-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge made the candid admission during a discussion about the secrets to a happy marriage.
During the show, Holden read out survey findings suggesting that kissing at least 10 times a week is important in a relationship. She commented: 'Which I think is quite low in seven days, even by my standards and my husband, who nags me all the time, would say you do that in a day, 10 kisses, probably.'
Theakston, visibly shocked, replied: 'You kiss your husband 10 times a day?' Holden confirmed: 'I would say so. Even if I gave him a Glaswegian one. Everyone in Scotland would know what that is. But yeah we do, we have a good old snog.'
The survey also recommended saying 'I love you' at least nine times a week, having 10 deep conversations a month, and going on a date three times a month. Holden admitted the date night target was 'utterly impossible' with her busy schedule and two daughters, saying she and Chris are lucky to go out once a month.
Listeners reacted to the revelation, with one claiming her 10-year-old son was so 'disgusted' he walked out of the room. Another told Holden she had 'too much time on her hands', a claim she denied.
