Former child star Amanda Bynes has surprised fans by sharing a selfie on Instagram that reveals a new face tattoo. The 33-year-old actress posted a photo of herself with a black heart inked on her left cheek, just below her eye, accompanied by an alien emoji.
Bynes, known for her roles in films such as She's the Man and Hairspray, recently left the sober living facility she had been staying at and returned to her parents' home. Reports claim she also dropped out of fashion design school.
She was subsequently pictured heading to court amid reports of a legal battle over her conservatorship. An insider suggested Bynes wants new conservators but does not wish to replace her parents.
Bynes has had a well-documented struggle with substance abuse. In a 2018 interview with Paper Magazine, she revealed she started smoking marijuana at 16 and later turned to harder drugs like cocaine. She warned others: 'Drugs can really take a hold of your life.'
