Amanda and Clive Owen, the stars of Our Yorkshire Farm, have spoken candidly about their life after separating in 2022 following 22 years of marriage. The couple, who share nine children, continue to work together on their farm and appear side by side in the Channel 4 series Our Farm Next Door, which airs a repeat on Friday June 26.
Co-Parenting and Business Partnership
In the series, Clive explained their unique dynamic: "Me and Mandy, we have had a strange few years and we're now in a place where although we are not actually together, we are still in business together, we still have these kids together. It's a crazy situation but it isn't - it's the most sensible thing for everybody to do."
Amanda added, "Things are good and I think being busy plays a huge part in keeping everybody's focus." The couple, who married in 2000, have nine children: Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine, and Nancy. Reuben now fronts his own show, Life in the Dales.
Their Separation Announcement
In 2022, Amanda shared a statement on Instagram: "Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate. This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children."
Clive remarked in the series, "Me and Amanda, for some crazy reason it's worked alright. We're not together, but we can keep things going to suit everybody and that's what we intend to do."
Our Farm Next Door
Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and the Kids will air at 8pm on Channel 4 on Friday June 26. The series follows the Owens as they renovate a dilapidated property in the Yorkshire Dales.
