Alison Hammond has addressed the possibility of marrying her boyfriend David Puttnam, revealing that the couple have no plans to tie the knot. The This Morning star, 51, has been dating Russian masseur David, who is 22 years her junior, since early 2023.

In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Hammond shared that the couple are deeply in love but have no intention of getting married. "I don't think so. We don't need to! We're both cool," she said when asked about wedding bells. The TV presenter described their relationship as "easy" and free from drama.
Hammond previously addressed the age gap in a 2024 interview with Good Housekeeping, stating that the word "toyboy" bears no relation to their relationship. "Yes, I'm 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you'd understand," she explained. "He's so mature and sensible, and I'm so not."
Family Life
Hammond also spoke about her son Aiden, now 20 and working as a DJ. She revealed that Aiden's approval of David was crucial. "He's the man of the house - if they didn't get on, he wasn't staying!" she said. Aiden is now in a new relationship, and Hammond expressed her joy, saying, "He's really loved up at the minute and she's lovely. A mother just... knows, don't you?"
Hammond praised her son's independence and success, noting that he has built his DJ career "in his own right." She added, "Everyone who comes up to me and speaks about Aiden says what a lovely young man he is."
