Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Alexis Warr has made her return to social media, posting for the first time since she announced her separation from her husband of nearly eight years, Jake Burton. The dancer, who joined the BBC One show's pro lineup in 2025 and reached the final with YouTube and TikTok star George Clarke, shared a carousel of images on Instagram showing her spending time with family in the United States.

Warr, who is originally from Utah and previously appeared on So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars, had taken a step back from social media following her return to America after a UK tour with her Strictly co-stars. Last week, she posted on her Instagram Story, writing: "Sorry I've been a bit MIA... Sharing a personal update." She then revealed that she and Burton, her childhood sweetheart whom she married in 2018, had decided to separate.
In a subsequent statement, Warr wrote: "After much consideration and with the greatest respect for each other, Jake and I have made the decision to separate. Whilst this hasn't been an easy decision, it has been reached with a huge amount of love and we're each others biggest cheerleaders. We won't be commenting on this further and kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this life change together. Thank you, as always, for your support."

Now, a week later, Warr has returned to Instagram with a post captioned "A little life lately," featuring individual captions for each photo. The images show her enjoying quality time with loved ones and relaxing before her return to the UK later in the summer for the next Strictly season.
