Alexis Warr debuts fresh look after marriage split

Strictly Come Dancing professional Alexis Warr has debuted a refreshed appearance after returning to the UK for the upcoming series, following her recent marriage split.

Return to the UK

The dancer, who joined the BBC One show's pro line-up in 2025 and reached the final with YouTube and TikTok star George Clarke, was seen packing up her belongings and saying goodbye to loved ones before taking two flights back from the United States earlier this week.

Hair Refresh

After arriving, Alexis visited a salon and shared a photo on her Instagram Story showing off her newly cut and dyed hair. She wrote: "Freshened up at my favourite salon @lucajoneshair," revealing a short waved bob.

Marriage Split Announcement

Last month, Alexis had taken a step back from social media and later explained why, sharing a statement on Instagram Story. She wrote: "After much consideration and with the greatest respect for each other, Jake and I have made the decision to separate. Whilst this hasn't been an easy decision, it has been reached with a huge amount of love and we're each others biggest cheerleaders. We won't be commenting on this further and kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this life change together." Alexis married childhood sweetheart Jake Burton in 2018.

Reunion with Strictly Pals

Since returning, Alexis has reunited with former Strictly pro and It Takes Two host Janette Manrara, who shared a picture of herself, Alexis, and her daughter Lyra Rose on Instagram Story, captioning it: "Last night... Apple sauce and hair chats w/Lyra and @alexis_warr." Janette confirmed her departure from the show last month, saying in a YouTube video: "Strictly Come Dancing has changed hugely, and I am no longer a part of It Takes Two or the main show. I’ll still be involved in other ways."
