Strictly Come Dancing professional Alexis Warr has returned to the UK ahead of the 2026 series of the BBC show, following her recent confirmation of a split from her husband.

The dancer, who joined the pro roster last year and reached the final with celebrity partner George Clarke, posted a video on Instagram showing her packing and saying goodbye to family and friends before making the journey across the Atlantic. "We have our heading," she wrote alongside the post, which drew excited responses from fans.

Personal Update

During her time in the US, Alexis took a break from social media, later explaining on her Instagram Story: "Sorry I've been a bit MIA... Sharing a personal update." She disclosed that she and childhood sweetheart Jake Burton, married in 2018, had separated.

She shared a joint statement: "After much consideration and with the greatest respect for each other, Jake and I have made the decision to separate. Whilst this hasn't been an easy decision, it has been reached with a huge amount of love and we're each others biggest cheerleaders. We won't be commenting on this further and kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this life change together."
