Adam Sandler has revealed the secret to his long-lasting marriage with wife Jackie, attributing it to the small, everyday moments they share. The 59-year-old actor spoke to People about how he and his wife have maintained their relationship for over two decades.
“We're very close. We like to talk, like to laugh, like to have fun, and like to think about things and take care of our kids,” he said. The couple, who met on the set of the 1999 film Big Daddy where Jackie played a waitress, married in Malibu, California in 2003.
The Sandlers have two daughters: Sadie, born in 2006, and Sunny, born in 2008. Reflecting on his life, Adam expressed deep gratitude: “I'm just more thankful than I've ever been. Happy I got to do this life... My wife and I talk about stuff, and what to do, and what to do next, and it's just been a very cool life.”
In 2023, to mark their 20th wedding anniversary, Sandler posted a heartfelt message on social media. “Happy 20th my sweet Jackie! Your 'I do' was the best gift of my life,” he wrote. “My heart has been yours since the first second I saw you... Let's keep going and going babe.”
